I might go to this one. Didnt go last time because of the 18+ rule, and didnt have anyone over 18 to go with. This is all ages though, right?

This was a ripper of a night. Paul Di'Anno is a true entertainer. Played tracks I didn't expect like Strange World, Charlotte the Harlot and Sanctuary, plus the banter between tracks was brilliant. Killrazer did a top job backing the great man and hopefully they will return to Adelaide with their own set as the track they played while Di'Anno had a ciggy went down really well with the crowd.

Agreed- decent turnout, funny in between typical Pom banter- classick..  I like the comment about Vic crowd being "pretentious wankers" for just standing there with arms folded..!
He was puffed out after the 3rd song though- saw the setlist, 21 songs in total..

It was a big set!
ACDC  track at the end cracked me up.
The Killrazer guys were awesome, I remember seeing them at Fowler's with Children of Bodom.

Doesn't surprise me about Melbourne though, having been to a few different gigs/venues, it is the same all over.  They just stand there with their arms folded, looking completely uninterested.
I cannot understand how you can go to a live show, and not tap your foot, or nod your head to the beat at least.
Maybe they think they look cool doing that?  Or is it just that they are bored? Why go to a live show and just stand there?  How can they see their favourite bands, and not headbang?
Confuses the fuck out of me......

Apparently, it was one of the better nights of the tour, they were quite happy with the crowd's reaction and turnout, which is probably why Mr Dianno was heaps chatty.
Which just goes to show, that Adelaide maybe small, but we certainly know how to make International acts feel welcome!!  Wink
